Kokuin privacy policy
Kokuin is a daily logic puzzle game for Android. This page tells you what data the app uses and why.
Data that stays on your phone
Your puzzle progress, solve times, streak, settings, and hint counts are stored only on your phone. Kokuin has no account and no server, and the developer does not receive this data. Android may include this data in your own device backup.
Ads
The free version of Kokuin shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares data with Google:
- device identifiers, such as the advertising ID and the app set ID
- your IP address, which can show your approximate location
- how you interact with ads, for example views and taps
- diagnostic data, such as crash and performance data of the ads SDK
Google uses this data for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. Read how Google uses data from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Kokuin asks for your consent with Google's consent message before personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings, under "Privacy choices". You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in the Android settings.
Ads in Kokuin are limited to a general audience (content rating PG).
Purchases
Kokuin Plus is sold through Google Play. Google Play handles the payment. Kokuin receives only a confirmation that you own Plus, and stores it on your phone. Kokuin Plus removes all ads.
What Kokuin does not do
- No analytics or tracking SDK other than the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
- No account, no sign-in, and no contact list, camera, microphone, or precise location access.
- The developer does not sell your data.
Children
Kokuin is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be on this page with a new effective date.
